My name is Abie and I am a freelance Theatre Practitioner based in Oxfordshire. I run workshops in the community with lots of different people from 0 - 100 years old, I also write plays and make theatre.
I am the co artistic directer of SOAL Theatre; where we focus on intergenerational projects and helping people to tell their own story through drama.

I am the Participation and Projects Officer for The North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford where we celebrate early career artists and strive to share artistic excellence with our community.
I am an experienced workshop facilitator and youth director, and have toured parts of Europe delivering drama workshops in schools.
I particularly love getting stuck into Shakespeare’s plays in my workshops and live for the lightbulb moment when participants recognise the comedy or tragedy in the text.
My love affair with language continues into my writing; I have written various plays for Fringe Festivals and I often adapt classic texts for younger audiences.
When not teaching or writing, I love to travel, dance and drink lots of tea.

Through my past 3 years with Abie I’ve never had a dull moment! Each day was fun and exciting but also informative and helpful; I’ve matured so very much as an actress when playing games, putting on an accent, acting the part to the best of my ability, and laughing my head off... except in performances! I’ve made sooo many memories and if I ever need acting help or inspiration she’s there to provide!
